Washi designated by UNESCO

December 07, 2014

UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list now includes Hosokawashi from Saitama Prefecture, Honminoshi from Gifu Prefecture and Sekishubanshi from Shimane Prefecture. This is great news for hand papermakers everywhere!

Fiber Tales exhibition
